The Pensions Regulator

The Pensions Regulator is the new regulatory body for work-based pension schemes in the UK. On 6th April 2005, it replaced Opra, the Occupational Pensions Regulatory Authority. The key objective was to convey the message that the organisation is proactive but with a 'light touch' regulatory approach.
The challenges were:

• to create a robust, flexible platform for future growth
• to address different knowledge levels and interests, encouraging visitors to engage with the Pension Regulator and build confidence in a new organisation.

We created a new online presence to support the launch with a structure adhering to best practice guidelines including AAA accessible templates. The website acts as the primary channel for the dissemination of information about The Pension Regulator, associated legislation and related guidance such as codes of practice, addressing specific audiences including pension providers/insurers, advisors, trustees and the media.
